Earl Grey Chocolate Torte

Gossamer Chocolate Sponge soaked with Earl Grey Tea - does it sound too adventurous? Well, it is sitting on a jellied compote made of mandarin oranges. How is that for dessert? I firmly believe it is fabulous. The plating could have been more elaborate and fancy but it will downplay the simple yet elegant masterpiece.

Thanks for the comment, Mr. Fish (if that is what the symbol really meant). Well, I would like to say that what really counts most is that it sits well on your palate. Your fave chocolate cake could be the best cake your taste buds have ever desired. You are a big fan of Idol huh. I enjoyed the program last night.

pop culture junkie, which explains the obsession for television. no new sugary updates? i was hoping to pick up an idea or two for making my own dessert.

I am a pop culture junkie as well but my interests really span from one pole to the other. I got some sugary updates very soon...and I mean really sugary. I am developing signature jams for the hotel.
